Many years of veterinary experience, combined with knowledge of Western and Chinese medicine, phytotherapy, homeopathy and orthomolecular medicine, form the basis for the health product range called Phytonics.

This involves not only ailments and symptom treatment, but also the way social life, housing, exercise, diet and medication are managed.

Several products in the Phytonics range are available in both veterinary (blue) and human (green) packaging. The range was launched for animals in 2010, and demand for the same products for humans arose quickly. The contents are the same; only the label looks different due to current regulations. In the future, we would like to simplify this and choose either a veterinary or a human label. All ingredients in the Phytonics range are of “human grade” quality. The phytotherapeutic products are suitable for all living beings. As a rule of thumb, sensitivity to these remedies is the same for humans and horses, regardless of body weight. The dosage for adults is the same as for horses. The dosage for children aged 6–12 is suitable for dogs and cats. Of course, here too, supplements should be given as needed. Carefully observe the response to the drops and adjust the dosage if necessary.

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, once daily:
Horse: 1 level measuring scoop
Pony: ¾ level measuring scoop

1 measuring scoop contains approximately 12 grams.

If it is difficult in practice to give the product several times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dose. The product will still be effective, but the response may take a little longer.

When the condition improves, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage stated on the packaging. When administering this product, carefully observe the animal’s response. A higher dosage may be needed at first; the product can safely be given at double the dosage. If the condition improves, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible level.

Some animals may experience a brief worsening at the start of treatment or otherwise react strongly. If the worsening is severe, halve the dosage or stop temporarily, then carefully increase it again.

Can be given with feed. Moisten the feed/powder (when using dry feed) so that it does not blow out of the feed trough.
